“Ibidun Ighodalo’s Death is Suspicious, Family Should be Interrogated”– Kemi Olunloyo

Nigerian controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has reacted to the shocking death of Ex beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo.

According to Kemi, the late Ibidun’s sudden death was suspicious and should be investigated by the police.

The fact that Ibidun’s last post on Instagram was removed after her page was deactivated for 14 hours gives credence to her suspicion.

In her verified Instagram handle, Kemi on Monday talked on the need for he police to investigate her death although her family released a statement asking for privacy.

“Give them privacy,” she wrote. “The media must not ask them for interviews. Respect that. But the media must ask questions.

“She talked about her husband LEAVING and that she was on the road a lot. Was she distraught? Did she take her own life?….”

Kemi Olunloyo spoke to This Day about her thought on Ibidun’sdeath drew attention to Ibidun’s last “emotional” post on Instagram where she talked about how difficult it was to let her husband leave.

The investigative journalist and pharmacist said whoever deleted the post should be interrogated also.

Again, Kemi Olunloyo emphasized on the need for the hotel she lodged when she visited Rivers to be sealed as a potential crime scene.

In addition, she said the entire kitchen staff and management need to be detained and interviewed concerning the food she ate.

Dr. Kemi called on River State Governor, Gov. Nyesom Wike to open an investigation before Ibudun is laid to rest.
