Interest Groups in Ondo Support Gov. Akeredolu with N35 M

Some interest groups in Ondo state who wish to support the Governor’s second term bid have presented the sum of N35 million to Governor Akeredolu.

This was donated for the purchase of All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form.

These political groups included: Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Aketi Mandate Group, Women in politics group as well as 19 out of 26 members of the State lawmakers.

The nineteen members of the State lawmakers are being coordinated by the office of the Governor’s Special Adviser on political affairs and strategies, Rt Hon Victor Olabimtan.

According to Olabimtan, the governor needs to be encouraged to continue his good jobs and developmental projects which he started three and half years ago.

Also, other members of the group took turn to praise the effort of Governor Akeredolu towards fulfilling electoral mandate during the last election that saw him through.

Speaking on behalf of the groups, the Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Chief Alex Ajipe and the leader of Aketi Mandate Group, Hon Saka Ogunleye, expressed happiness that opposition had not accused Akeredolu of nonperformance.

But enemies only found joy in blackmailing which usually happened during electioneering period.

Ajipe said some of the projects of Akeredolu’s administration including Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, Ore as well as Ore Flyover, would not be forgotten by many generations yet unborn.

Governor Akeredolu, commended the groups for their support to see that his continuity agenda becomes a reality.

In addition, he assured the people that he will continue to work for the interest of the good people of Ondo State.

As he urged every member of the interest groups to make continuity their watchword.
