Sokoto Welcomes Covid-19 Drugs after Recording 3 Deaths in less than 3 Hours

Sokoto State Minister of Health has appealed to the members of the public to approach NAFDAC with the cure of Covid-19.

This information was announced on Sokoto State Ministry of Health Twitter account on Monday. Related: 469 Patients Discharged from Lagos Isolation Centers

The tweet reads: ‘Anyone with authentic claims for alternative medicine on COVID19 can approach NAFDAC for verification protocols.’

As at Sunday May, 10 2020, Sokoto recorded 10 New cases, 3 Discharges and 3 Deaths. These deaths occurred less than three hours bringing the total number of Covid-19 related death to 12.

However, 6 patients were discharged today to reunite with the society bringing the total number of discharged cases to 19.

Currently the state government has been doing everything possible to curb the spread of the disease in Sokoto since the first indexed case was recorded.

Recently, about 2 million face masks were distributed at the Central Market in Sokoto.
