Oyo State Governor, Engineering Seyi Makinde on Wednesday afternoon officially flagged-off the distribution of palliatives he promised the people of Oyo.
The palliatives will be distributed to the Vulnerable Households in Oyo state to mitigate the burden of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The flag-off ceremony Kicked-off in Igbo Ora in Ibarapa Local Government Area of Oyo state. The palliatives will be shared to 120,000 households in all 33 LGAs in the state.
While speaking during the ceremony today, Makinde, stated that the distribution of the palliatives stemmed from the fact that businesses of people have been affected alongside means of livelihood.

Makinde gave the mandate that the distribution for the first 90,000 (the poorest of the poor households) should be done in the next three days.
