During a Thank You tour to principal officers and ward leaders in Oredo Local Government Area in Edo State, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Gov. Godwin Obaseki clarified doubts about degree certificate.
This comes after the rumour making rounds that Governor Godwin Obaseki forged his degree certificate.
He said: “… they spread rumours that I forged my certificate. How can you forge the certificate of the University of Ibadan?

In addition, the governor also clarified doubts about the election results in his ward in 2019 general elections.
“I won the elections in the ward convincingly,” he said. “When people come out to lie that I didn’t win my ward during the last election, they forget that election results are documented.”
