The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi on Tuesday, May 12, finalised arrangements for the take-off of the Ekiti State Covid-19 testing centre.
The testing for coronavirus would commence at the centre before the end of next week.
The governor disclosed this during an on-the-spot assessment of facilities at the expanded Infectious Disease Unit at the Oba Adejugbe General Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
The testing centre would aid the State Government’s proactive measures to test as many people as possible in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Ekiti State.
Ekiti State Government is efficiently managing the spread of the Coronavirus. As at Monday, May 11th, the state has discharged 9 patients who tested negative to the virus.
