Air Peace a flight conveying stranded Nigerian travellers finally arrives Abuja.
The Chairman of Nigeria in the Diaspora (NIDCOM), Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed on Sunday, June 28, 2020 via Twitter.
She tweeted: “Breaking, Flight conveying Stranded Nigerian travellers finally arrives Abuja. 317 passengers including 9 infants aboard @flyairpeace. Welcome home.”
Goodness Pius Blog gathered that 175 passengers will disembark in Abuja, while 142 will proceed to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
Although, all evacuees tested negative to Covid19 they will now proceed on 14 days self isolation as mandated by National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and Federal Ministry of Health and Presidential Task Force on Covid19.
While speaking with some of the UK returnees, Mrs Dabiri-Erewa said on Monday that they expressed gratitude and were too happy to be back.
Also, she disclosed that NIDCOM is expecting a combined flight of about 200 returnees from Kenya and Uganda courtesy on Tuesday.
