Dubai-based Nigerian big boy, Hushpuppi whose real name is Raymond Igbalodely girlfriend, Amirah Dyme, has taken to her social media page to deflect her previous comments which was perceived by many as insensitive shortly after Hushpuppi was arrested.
Recall that Amirah in a post on her Instagram page rebuked Hushpuppi illegitimate income.
She talked about how Hushpuppi looks down on people who did legitimate jobs. She also talked about how Karma was a bitch and she hopes he likes his prison uniform.
Well, after heavily criticized, the model has come out to deflect on her posts.
Amirah said on her private Instagram page with over 3 million followers that she wasn’t talking about Hushpuppi when she made those comments.
According to her the post was meant for a whole different thing.
“My man and my story were posted at a very bad moment and it applied to a whole different topic.”
Amirah claimed that when she made the post that she had not heard anything about Hushpuppi’s arrest.
“I didn’t even know or hear about the circumstances when I posted the story my man POSTED his before any news even reported about this….”
In her new post she wrote: “ppl who know me including him know….
“Never assume when u see shit before you heard the story. “If there’s anybody in this world who wants him to be free it’s me. AS A FRIEND. #freehushpuppi”
