There has been an increase in infections in Oyo State and the rest of the country since the government eased the lockdown in the country on Monday.
In Oyo State, the deadly Coronavirus has spread to Oyo and Oke Ogun geopolitical zones as the number of confirmed cases in the state rose to 64.
Oyo East local government in Oyo town and Olorunsogo Local Government in Igbeti have recorded 1 case each.
With these, Oyo and Oke Ogun zones have joined Ibadan and Ogbomoso zones in the list of zone with confirmed cases of Covid-19.
A breakdown of the 64 cases shows that Ibadan North has 26 cases, Egbeda has 8 cases, Ibadan South West has 7 cases, Oriire has 5 cases.

Ibadan South East and Oluyole have 3 cases each, Akinyele has 3 cases, Ido and Surulere have 2 cases each while Ibadan North West has 1 case.
Ibadan North East has 1, Lagelu has 1case, Olorunsogo has 1 case, Ona Ara has 1 case and Oyo East has 1 case.
