US politician and senator, Bernie Sanders has accused Donald Trump yet again of causing the deaths of many thousands since he refused to wear a mask during the pandemic.
Sanders said in Twitter on Sunday saying Trump finally accepting to wear a mask is “too little too late” as his refusal to develop national pandemic policy based on science.
He said: “Trump is finally wearing a mask. Too little too late.
“His refusal to develop national pandemic policy based on science has led to widespread confusion and cost us many thousands of lives.
“Trump has rejected science. In November, we must come together and reject Trump.”
In early June, Sanders had said that Trump’s rejection of science on Covid19 had led to the deaths of many. Sander claimed that his rejection of science is causing the planet to be at stake.
He also said Americans cannot continue a government which rejects science.
Sanders is the longest-serving independent in U.S. congressional history.
He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic Party nomination for president of the United States in 2016 and 2020.
