Kanye to contest for 2020 election; Americans react.
Americans have reacted as rapper, Kanye West, states his intention to run for presidency in the coming 2020 election.
Kanye West announced via Twitter on Sunday, July 5, that he would be contesting in the election scheduled to hold on November 3rd, 2020.
He said: “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”
While some showed support to the rapper, a large number of Twitter users responded negatively.
Many wrote that it was actually a ploy by Kanye to get Trump re-elected.
In fact, some believed that the rapper’s intention is to split the Democrat votes since he is a huge supporter of President Trump.
Gordon Gekko tweeted: “This is a ploy by Kanye to get Trump re-elected, Do NOT fall for it!!!! This is just to steal votes from Biden which only helps Trump.”
