As Lagos State eased its lockdown on Monday May 4th, citizens who had been weary by the lockdown which lasted more than a month quickly resumed their daily activities.
Public places such as banks and markets were flooded with people eager to accomplish one task or the other long impeded by the lockdown.
The state governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, saw it necessary to remind his subjects.
‘I will like to remind residents that the #EaseOfLockdown is not an excuse for us to rush out.’
