Why Diezani Report is not Recent

Diezani who is facing corruption charges from different countries and authorities in West Africa is now a citizen of Dominican Republic.

The former Minister who was currently in the United Kingdom is said to have purchased citizenship and a political position in the Caribbean country.

However, BBC reports that the news currently circulating Social Media was aired by an Al Jazeera’s Investigative Journalist last year.

Also, the investigation connected Dominican Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit and Allison-Madueke to one apartment in New York worth $2.2 million.

It was reported that the apartment was purchased by Deziani, however; she had long denied the report.

Diezani Alison-Madueke served as Nigeria’s first female Minister of Petroleum from 2010 to 2015.

She was Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation from 2007 – 2008 and Minister of Mines and Steel Development from 2008 – 2010.
