Sokoto State is winning the fight against Covid-19 as a large number of Covid19 patients have been discharged.

He said: ‘77.5% of all confirmed Covid-19 patients have fully recovered and discharged from Sokoto State Isolation centres.’
He thanked the State Governor, Governor Aminu Tambuwal Sokoto State Ministry of Health, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, and everyone who was involved in the battle against Covid19.
Recall that while briefing newsmen on the measures taken to contain the disease on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020, the Chairman of the State Taskforce on Covid-19, Dr. Ali Inname, said the committee adopted three steps which were contact tracing, testing and treatment.
As at Friday May 22nd, Sokoto recorded 3 new cases, 5 patients were discharged and zero death was recorded.
