Bolton’s Memoir: Trump Threatens Bolton

The president of the United States of America, President Donald Trump has threatened to throw bomb on the former National Security Advisor of the United States.

This comes after John Bolton wrote a memoir of nearly 600 pages that could sink Donald Trump.

Trump who is disturbed by John Bolton’s publication had ordered the book to be pulled down. However, a federal judge ruling on Saturday rejected Trump’s request.

“With hundreds of thousands of copies around the globe — many in newsrooms — the damage is done. There is no restoring the status quo,” wrote Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the Federal District Court of the District of Columbia.

But in a 10-page opinion, Judge Lamberth also suggested that Mr. Bolton may be in jeopardy of forfeiting his $2 million advance, as the Justice Department has separately requested.

Also, Justice Lamberth said that he could be prosecuted for allowing the book to be published before receiving final notice that a prepublication review to scrub out classified information was complete.

“Bolton has gambled with the national security of the United States,” Judge Lamberth wrote.

“He has exposed his country to harm and himself to civil (and potentially criminal) liability. But these facts do not control the motion before the court. The government has failed to establish that an injunction will prevent irreparable harm.”

Although Trump was not satisfied with the judgement as nothing could be done to stop the publication of the book which is already circulated, he was pleased to know that Bolton had put himself in jeopardy for exposing secrets of national security.

Trump tweeted after the ruling, Saturday: “BIG COURT WIN against Bolton. Obviously, with the book already given out and leaked to many people and the media, nothing the highly respected Judge could have done about stopping it…

“BUT, strong & powerful statements & rulings on MONEY & on BREAKING CLASSIFICATION were made….”

In addition he said: “….Bolton broke the law and has been called out and rebuked for so doing, with a really big price to pay. He likes dropping bombs on people, and killing them. Now he will have bombs dropped on him!”

Bolton wrote about how Trump begged Xi Jinping of China in 2019 for his assistance by buying a lot of “soybeans and wheat” so that he would win the election.

In the author’s judgment: “I don’t think he’s fit for office. I don’t think he has the competence to carry out the job.”
